Elon may have taken over Twitter but it’s the employees who run it, who make the decisions, who judge what is so-called “free speech.”

so basically I was trolled relentlessly on my profile by someone telling me I was “Islamophobic”. It went on for hours, like anyone with half a spine I retaliated with insults traded on both sides. I don’t report people, he evidently reported all my posts and I’m banned for an argument he initiated. It’s pathetic. Harassment to me is someone tweeting a user that doesn’t respond, yet I respond to all his abuse and am banned simply because he reports my posts and I fail to report his. Grown men don’t “ report” tweets in a 50/50 exchange in my eyes..that all being said the twitter mods are mindless. I have had a 7 day ban once for saying a footballer ( white) looked like a donkey

I saw the screenshot posted by Kate, I cannot believe that you were suspended for "Islamophobia" when we all know there is no such thing. I read the tweets about the unemployment amongst the Muslim population which is absolutely true, did the idiot who was replying to the posts report you? He was a right melt. I will continue to follow you on here, I really enjoyed our interactions on X formally Twitter, I thought it had changed when Elon took over but it would seem not. There are no blasphemy laws in this country but one ideology seems to be above criticism, it's so wrong.

Thanks, nice to hear from you. Yeah, it was that idiot on Sunday who was continually trolling me on my profile and basically reported every post. The ridiculous rules on twitter are he started the abuse on my profile, yet I get suspended because he reported me and I didn't report him. I don't bother reporting anyone, I'd sooner argue with the imbecile till he buggers off but these characters stay online all day ready to report like a child to the headmaster. It's pathetic

It certainly is, it seems to me that the more radical and insulting you are the better you get on these days. I have never been more worried about the future of this country. I'm glad I'm old enough to remember what it used to be, a great place to live.

yep, the only saving grace is the wanker who got me banned will never be able to tweet freely again. I will troll the clown indefinitely on disposable accounts. He has already locked his account after I cloned the freak mocking him to his tiny number of followers. It may be petty but I don’t care, if I’m finished on twitter so is he! I will be writing an article on Islam on here in the next few days

Twitter is beginning to frustrate me. I came to that conclusion this morning just before I read you were suspended. FB have been wholeheartedly showing their bias again and censoring hard. The far left are are like dirty little maggots.

yeah, I noticed a few weeks before my suspension that my tweet reach and interactions were massively down so assume it was a form of a shadow ban. Tweets that used to get dozens of likes and comments were literally getting less than 3 so the algorithms seem to alter for some accounts. It's a shame it has come to this, but after appealing, not much more I can do. Twitter could be a great platform if they literally just banned people for extreme things such as promoting terrorism etc instead of nonsense like this where a tweet talking about a disproportionately high number of unemployed muslims is " hate speech"

If you can inform anyone who asks in Dan's club that I was banned for " Islamophobia" as I stated with government stats there were more unemployed muslims per capita than non muslims, they will know why I am not there. Hopefully more will subscribe to here

Yes I can understand that…hopefully a lot of the members will come across to Dan’s new show and there’ll be lots of interaction there 🤞

TY, much appreciated :) I will start writing on here and see how I get on away from the twitter trolls reporting me for stating actual facts. I haven't spent much time on substack, so with twitter gone can focus on this a little more with like minded people. I wil miss Dan's club on twitter though.

On a slightly different note, the algorithms have massively changed on twitter in recent weeks. Have you noticed even in Dan's club , apart from Mick who is a mod where tweet visibility is enhanced, all posts have fewer likes and comments. In the old days it was really busy with interaction. I don't think it is lack of numbers, something is wrong on twitter.

I know... I hate that cursed "religion " with a passion. It ruins my life online and off it as you say in Paris etc.
